John William Bower, nicknamed “The China Wall”, is a Hockey Hall of Fame goaltender who won four Stanley Cups during his career with the Toronto Maple Leafs.
Johnny Bower and Bruce Gamble were the last Leafs goaltenders to capture the Stanley Cup in 1966-67. Which was the last year of the original six team league.
Also a two-time Vezina Trophy winner as the NHL’s Best Goaltender in 1960–61, 1964–65.
